The Montgomery County Free Clinic operates in the renovated Dr. Mary Ludwig Free Clinic; a modern and welcoming facility made possible by generous community support. Please tour photos from the milestones, below, that paved the way for the existing Clinic.
Celebrating our Past
The Dr. Mary Ludwig Free Clinic serves as one of the greatest examples of community generosity. This community anchor brings together those who are seeking basic health services and met by loyal volunteers and supported by neighbors’ donations. The following photo galleries showcase milestones from our history:
A collection of photos from our public open house on July 28th, 2013.
Patterson Dental (Billy Lewis, the sales representative, William and John) started the installation of the equipment for the dental suite. We will have two dental chairs, an X-Ray unit and a digital Panoramic Digital X-ray.
Volunteer Recognition Picnic
Montgomery County Free Clinic, Inc. honored all of those who volunteer— Dr. Mary Ludwig Free Clinic volunteers, those who package meals prepared by Franciscan Health Crawfordsville, and those who deliver the meals to more than 60 clients. Kevin and Vivian Fischer, chefs extraordinaire, prepared a great spread featuring Kevin’s grilled tenderloins and Vivian’s chocolate cake and vegetable soup. More than 50 volunteers attended the picnic.
On June 7, 2012, friends of Montgomery County Free Clinic gathered to celebrate beginnings – of the campaign to raise funds for The Dr. Mary Ludwig Clinic, to begin construction on the former MainSource Bank facility, and to celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of Christian Nursing Service.
